In the quiet community of Lithonia, Georgia, the afternoon of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 76-year-old Brenda Evans. Responding to a report of a shooting just before 4:40 p.m., DeKalb County police officers arrived at the 2800 block of Davidson Drive to a grim scene.
