In the early hours of November 27, 2024, the life of 35-year-old Cameron Smith, a Black male from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short. Smith was fatally shot while inside his vehicle near the intersection of Fond du Lac and Hampton Avenues. The incident, which police later described as the result of a dispute, unfolded when a suspect approached Smith's vehicle and opened fire. Struck by the gunfire, Smith was rushed to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
