In the autumn of 2021, the life of Shermond Flowers, a 24-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the afternoon of October 25, 2021, gunfire erupted near the intersection of 21st and Wright, a violent outburst that would leave one man dead and another wounded. Shermond Flowers was the man who lost his life in the shooting.
