On a summer night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 34-year-old Earl Hubanks, an African-American male, was tragically cut short. On August 13, 2016, Hubanks was fatally shot outside a bar located near 40th and Fond du Lac Avenue. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, his family was left grappling with not only the sudden and violent loss of a loved one but also the heart-wrenching reality of his final arrangements.
