In a residence near 47th and Stark in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a family tragedy unfolded on February 26, 2025, ending in the death of 41-year-old Justin Smith. Justin Smith, a Black / African American male, was found by responding officers lying on the ground, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Near his body, authorities also discovered a hammer.
