In the early morning hours of November 7, 2021, the life of 28-year-old Black / African American male Marquis Wallace of Kenosha, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short. The fatal incident unfolded shortly before 2 a.m. near the intersection of 6th Avenue and 56th Street, where a large event was being held at a local business. The night erupted into chaos as more than 70 rounds were fired, creating a perilous scene that required the intervention of multiple law enforcement agencies to control.
