In the spring of 2022, the life of a young Black/African American man, Keno L. Scott Jr., was tragically cut short at the age of 22. On the evening of Tuesday, May 10, 2022, gun violence erupted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, claiming Scott's life. The shooting incident, which also resulted in another individual being injured, unfolded near the intersection of 13th Street and West Custer Avenue.
