Olanrewaju Ahmed Dopemu, a 47-year-old Black man, was shot and killed on the evening of March 29, 2025, while working at Gig’s Petro Pantry near 23rd Street and West Fond du Lac Avenue in Milwaukee. Police said the shooting happened around 7:40–7:45 p.m. on the 2300 block of West Fond du Lac; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
