Maria Aparece, a 23-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on June 18, 2006. Maria, also known as "Sally," was a resident of Sugar Land, TX. Her death was a result of a brutal crime that shocked the community. Maria Aparece and her boyfriend, Huy Ngo, were carjacked by a group of individuals led by Dexter Johnson, a 19-year-old at the time.
