In the evening hours of January 22, 2015, a confrontation at the Crystal Pointe Apartments in Federal Way, Washington, tragically ended the life of 19-year-old Erik Raul Reynaga. The young man, who was a resident of Auburn but had been temporarily staying at the apartment complex, was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds in the parking lot, lying next to a car near building 9.
