In the early hours of January 6, 2018, a night out in Seattle's White Center neighborhood turned tragic for 51-year-old Jose Garcia. An altercation in the parking lot of the Taradise Cafe escalated, resulting in a shooting that would claim two lives. Garcia was fatally wounded at the scene, while a second man, 45-year-old Paul Tapia, was critically injured and later died at a local hospital.
