In the quiet neighborhood of Pasco, Washington, a dispute between neighbors on June 3, 2018, escalated into a tragedy that ended the life of 47-year-old Abel Yanez Contreras. On that Sunday afternoon, at his home on South 22nd Avenue, an argument broke out between Contreras and his neighbor, Victor Alfonso Paniagua. The disagreement, reportedly over insults exchanged about each other's mothers, took a fatal turn inside Contreras's bedroom.
