On the evening of July 6, 2025, a young Hispanic man named Paul Jacobo, aged 18, was fatally shot in Pasco, Washington, following what authorities have described as a botched robbery. Jacobo and a friend had met with two teenagers, a 16-year-old from Kennewick and a 15-year-old. The group was inside a Jeep on the 700 block of Agate Street when the 16-year-old allegedly produced a handgun in an attempt to steal a necklace from Jacobo.
