Javier Adrian Romero, 18, a Hispanic male, left home before dawn on October 22, 2025, bound for the King City Truck Stop off Highway 395 in Pasco. By 7 a.m., a confrontation there—what police later described as “drama” among several Amazon co-workers spilling into the morning—had escalated into gunfire. Officers found Romero gravely wounded; they tried to save him on the pavement before he was rushed to a local hospital, where he died.
