Francine Price Barnes, aged 17, tragically lost her life on October 1, 1973, in one of Lexington, Kentucky's most brutal crimes. Francine, along with her father, Rev. John K. Barnes, and her brother, John E. Barnes, were murdered in their home on Russell Cave Road. The family was attacked by two men who had escaped from the federal holdover in Lexington’s Federal building earlier that day.
