In the summer of 2018, a vibrant young woman's life was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. Jasmir Allen, a 19-year-old female, was fatally shot on the evening of Sunday, July 29, 2018. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. at the Liberty Heights apartment complex on Liberty Road. When police arrived at the scene following reports of shots fired, they discovered Jasmir with a severe upper extremity wound.
