Gregory Louis Coontz, a 14-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, tragically passed away on March 27, 2008. Gregory, known as "Greg," was a bright student involved in the Gifted and Talented Program and Chorus at Noe Middle School. He was also an explorer at the Highview Fire Department. His younger sister, Randy Nicole "Nikki" Coontz, aged 10, also died on the same day. Nikki was active in Quick Recall and the Amigo Program at McFerran Elementary and was a former Girl Scout.
