Hakim Jahein Rushin, an 18-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, tragically passed away on June 18, 2021. He was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds behind a daycare near Greenwood Avenue and South 40th Street in the Chickasaw neighborhood. Despite being transported to the University Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Hakim was known for his love of baseball, football, and rapping. He worked for UPS and cherished spending time with his son, Kylyn.
