In the late hours of a Sunday evening in LaGrange, Kentucky, a life was tragically cut short, leaving a family devastated and a community in shock. On May 11, 2014, 24-year-old Justin David Rogers, a male, was shot and killed in a violent encounter that unfolded in the 400 block of East Washington Street. The incident, which police believe was connected to a drug transaction, marked the first murder in the city since 2009.
