In the spring of 1980, a routine day in Lyndon, Kentucky, was shattered by a sudden act of violence that claimed the life of a dedicated police officer. On April 3rd, 27-year-old Christopher M. Dunn, a Patrolman with the Jefferson County Police Department, was fatally shot in the line of duty.
