In the small community of Beattyville, Kentucky, the life of 25-year-old Joshua Todd Little was tragically cut short on a summer evening in 2018. On the night of July 19th, an altercation at an apartment complex escalated to a fatal conclusion, forever altering the lives of those involved.
According to the Kentucky State Police, a dispute between Joshua Little and another man, identified as 31-year-old Ronald Wolford of Edgarton, West Virginia, took a violent turn.
It is alleged that during this confrontation, Wolford shot Little, inflicting critical injuries. The immediate aftermath was a frantic effort to save the young man's life.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and Joshua Little was quickly airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Despite the urgent medical attention, the severity of his wounds proved to be too great. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead in the early hours of the following morning.
The investigation into the shooting led authorities to Ronald Wolford. He was subsequently arrested and faced serious charges in connection with Joshua Little's death. The charges brought against him included Murder and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon. Following his arrest, Wolford was lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail as the legal process began to unfold.
