In the rural landscape of Lee County, Kentucky, a life was abruptly ended on a late autumn day. On Saturday, November 18, 2017, Jimmy L. Vanover, a 34-year-old male from Lexington, was inside a residence on High Point Road when a violent altercation broke out. The dispute, which involved another male, escalated to the point of gunfire.
When Kentucky State Police from the Richmond Post arrived at the scene shortly before 10:30 a.m., they discovered Vanover's body inside the home.
