In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Lexington, Kentucky, Charles Wright, a 32-year-old man with a passion for hip-hop music, was found lying in the street in front of his duplex on East Sixth Street. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he died a short time later.
