In the late summer of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. Jose Manuel Salazar Alarcon, a 60-year-old Hispanic man, became a victim of gun violence on September 14th. The events of that day led to his succumbing to his injuries on September 15, 2024, at UK Chandler Hospital.
