In the early evening of May 8, 2021, in Lexington, Kentucky, 17-year-old Marquevion Leach was fatally shot in an incident that also left two other men wounded. The male teenager was a student at the Audrey Grevious Center, a Fayette County Public School. The shooting occurred just after 6 p.m. in the 700 block of Florence Avenue, where police responded to multiple calls reporting shots fired.
