Joseph Michael Thomas, a 45-year-old White/Caucasian male known to his friends and family as Mike, was shot and killed on October 21, 2014, in the Sylvania neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The coroner's report indicated that Thomas died from multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation into his death revealed that he had been shot seven times.
