Thomas McKinney Jr., a 26-year-old male, was fatally shot in the head on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred in the early morning hours inside an apartment located on South Ewing Avenue in the city's Clifton neighborhood. McKinney, a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was reportedly passing through Louisville on his way to Florida at the time of his death. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:30 a.m.
