In the cool of a late October evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 34-year-old Leonard Davon Warner came to a sudden and violent end. On Sunday, October 23, 2022, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department were called to the Overbrook Apartment Homes in the Fern Creek neighborhood, responding to reports of a shooting. There, in the 5500 block of Overbrook Woods Place, they found Warner, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
