In the late hours of a Sunday evening in November 2014, the life of 38-year-old Kenneth Richards, a Black male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. Just before the stroke of midnight on November 16th, police were called to the Park Hill housing complex. There, on Moore Court, they discovered Richards suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services transported him to University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
Richards, who resided on Greenwood Avenue a few miles from where he was found, was believed to have family in the area of the shooting.
