Amoni Dejesus, a 22-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, lost his life to gun violence on June 14, 2023. The incident occurred at the Highview Apartments, specifically in the 7400 block of Avalon Springs Drive. Police were called to the scene around 10 p.m. and found Dejesus with obvious gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the responding officers.
