In the early hours of January 2, 2023, tragedy struck in the Tyler Park neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, claiming the life of 36-year-old Diunta Eugene Cross. A male, Cross was discovered with a gunshot wound around 1:30 a.m. at an apartment complex located in the 1600 block of Beechwood Avenue, near Baxter Avenue. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
