In the summer of 2019, tragedy struck the Beecher Terrace neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, leaving a family heartbroken and a community searching for answers. On the evening of July 14th, Sean William Bush, Sr., a 38-year-old Black male, was found at 301 Simmons Court suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene, and Bush was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
