In the spring of 2016, a 40-year-old man named Christopher Jones was fatally shot in a tragic case of mistaken identity in Louisville, Kentucky. On the morning of May 4th, Jones was on South 41st Street in the Chickasaw neighborhood when he was gunned down. Responding to a report of a shooting, Louisville Metro Police officers found Jones injured at the scene. He was transported to University Hospital, where he succumbed to a gunshot wound to the torso a few hours later.
