In the early morning hours of September 10, 2014, the life of 23-year-old Chauncey Delray Miles, a male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. Just before 4:30 a.m. in west Louisville, on Hazel Street near the intersection of 31st Street and W. Broadway, Miles was shot once in the chest. The single gunshot wound proved to be fatal, ending the young man's life in a sudden act of violence.
