Garrett Turner, a 16-year-old student from Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri, tragically died on March 14, 2016. He was found in the basement of the house where he lived, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred while he was alone with a friend in the basement. Garrett had been living with his best friend's family since August of the previous year.
