In Kansas City, Missouri, a young life was tragically cut short on March 14, 2016. Garrett Turner, a 17-year-old male, died from a gunshot wound to the head in the basement of a home on North Flora Avenue. At the time of the incident, Garrett, a student at Oak Park High School, had been living with the family of his best friend since the previous August.
