In the summer of 2017, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. Nathan Lee Conrad, a 24-year-old Caucasian male, was found with a gunshot wound in the driveway of a home on Cheltenham Circle in the Hurstbourne subdivision on the evening of June 23, 2017. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during surgery later that night.
Neighbors reported hearing a single gunshot.
The police investigation revealed that a 59-year-old man had called them to report that he had just shot someone. When officers arrived at the scene, this man was present. The shooting was not believed to be a random act.
The man who made the call was considered a person of interest in the case. However, he was not immediately charged.
