Tyler Ryan, a 25-year-old from Covington, Kentucky, was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds on February 11, 2017, in the front yard of a residence on Deer Trace Drive in Walton, Kentucky. The Boone County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene shortly after 7:00 p.m. and began an investigation into what was initially suspected to be a drug deal gone wrong.
