In March of 2017, the community of Vanceburg, Kentucky, was shaken by the disappearance and subsequent death of 28-year-old Justin Johnson. A resident of Vanceburg, Johnson was reported missing on Thursday, March 23, 2017. The day after his disappearance, his abandoned pick-up truck was discovered on Lower Twin Branch Road near Garrison, sparking concern among his family and local authorities.
