A man dies as a result of arson
On September 28, 1990, the quiet town of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, was shaken by the mysterious death of 72-year-old John Sterling. In the early hours of the morning, a fire engulfed Sterling's single-family home on School Street. Firefighters arrived at approximately 1:00 a.m. to combat the blaze and, after extinguishing it, discovered Sterling's body inside the charred remains of his home.
