In the winter of 2017, the community of Lexington, Kentucky, was shaken by the violent and untimely death of 19-year-old Christian Alejandro Gomez. A recent graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, class of 2016, Christian's life was cut tragically short on the evening of Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was discovered in Woodhill Park, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
