In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 28, 2023, the life of 35-year-old Kevin Vanhuddle Reel was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. Police responded to a call around 2:50 a.m. at the intersection of West Short Street and North Limestone, where they discovered Reel suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner.
