In the fading light of a Friday afternoon in Lexington, Kentucky, the life of Larry Steven Rose Jr., a 44-year-old male, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On March 6, 2020, police responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Smith Street, near the Transylvania University campus. Arriving at the scene around 3:15 p.m., they discovered Rose with a gunshot wound.
