Brittney Niecol Silvers, a 27-year-old U.S. Army soldier assigned to the 96th Aviation Support Battalion at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, tragically lost her life on October 14, 2018. Brittney was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Victor Everette Silvers, at her apartment on the Fort Campbell military installation. The couple was in the process of getting a divorce, and Brittney had been granted a Domestic Violence Order of Protection just five days before her murder.
