In the late hours of a Thursday in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, a chain of violent events began that would leave two people dead and a community in shock. Cherie Nicole Turner, a 34-year-old woman, was found shot to death in her home on Warfield Street on February 21, 2019. She was a former server and a member of Faith Church in Elizabethtown, as well as a mother to two daughters.
