Barbara Jean Kemp, a 19-year-old woman from Phoenix, New York, was last seen on December 5, 1976, in the village of Baldwinsville. She was known to frequent local bars in the areas of Baldwinsville and Phoenix. Two days later, on December 7, her body was discovered on the shoulder of Great Bear Road in Volney, New York, near the former Miller Brewery plant.
