Chaves Moore, a 17-year-old male, was killed by gun violence on March 23, 2019, in Louisville, Kentucky. The shooting happened outside of a party in Shively. Friends and family remembered Moore, a student at Doss High School, as a 'wonderful young man and one heck of a football player and team mate' who 'had a huge heart and was always willing to step in to care for those who could not care for themselves.' His family said, 'He always had that sparkle.'
