In the late hours of a February evening in East Point, a suburb of Atlanta, the life of Christopher Holt, a 38-year-old African American man, was tragically cut short. On February 23, 2025, Holt, a dedicated truck driver and a loving father to six children, found himself in the parking lot of The Reserve at Maple Ridge apartment complex on Washington Road. It was there that he was violently attacked and shot.
