Death by Force

Cortez Dowell, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 27, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early morning hours inside a home located in the area of Jonesboro Road and Hutchens Road. According to reports, police arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Orchard Lane and found Cortez Dowell critically wounded. He was immediately transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
