In the heart of Lexington, Kentucky, the life of 31-year-old Marques LaMonte Sellers was tragically cut short on the cold winter night of Friday, January 31, 2020. A man known to his loved ones, he was a son, father, brother, and friend whose sudden departure left a void in the community. That evening, the sound of gunfire shattered the night, and when police responded to the scene, Sellers was found, a victim of fatal gun violence.
