In the summer of 2020, a young life was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. Krislynn Nykole Averitte, a 19-year-old Black female, died on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Her death was the result of gun violence that occurred at 8813 Woodpointe Boulevard.

At the time of her passing, she was at the University of Louisville Hospital. The Louisville Metro Police Department has listed her case as an open homicide. As of now, there have been no arrests made in connection with her murder, and n ...
